Body composition
Meta-analyses report small increases in resting metabolic rate and modest weight differences, almost always in products combining synephrine with caffeine and other stimulants. Attribution to synephrine itself is not possible from these trials.
What may be going on: p-Synephrine is an adrenergic agonist with relatively weak affinity for beta-1 and alpha-1 receptors, producing modest thermogenic effects.
Limited evidence. Early human work, or mostly lab and animal research.
