Cardiovascular risk markers
Cohort studies associate higher cruciferous vegetable intake with lower cardiovascular risk, and anthocyanin intake shows a similar pattern. Neither line of evidence isolates red cabbage, and no trial has fed it and followed cardiovascular outcomes.
